VOTE BY MAIL ANNOUNCEMENT

In New Jersey, any voter can now vote by mail in any election.  You do not need a reason to Vote by Mail.  Don’t feel like going to the polls?  Simply vote by mail. Exercise your right to vote!  Now there is no excuse not to vote.  Vote by Mail.    

If you are a registered voter in the City of Newark and wish to apply for a mail-in ballot for the May 11, 2010 Newark Municipal Election, you must do so in writing to the Essex County Clerk’s office located at 465 Martin Luther King Blvd, Room 246 Newark, NJ 07101-0690 .  Your written request must be received by the County Clerk’s Office not later than Tuesday, May 4, 2010.  You may also apply in person to the Essex County Clerk’s office on any day up to 3:00 P.M. on May 10, 2010.
