Neil Braunstein
Assistant Corporation Counsel
Neil Braunstein is an assistant corporation counsel assigned to the workers' compensation section of the Law Department, where he defends of the City of Newark against workers' compensation claims filed with the Workers' Compensation Courts of the State of New Jersey.
Prior to joining the Law Department, Braunstein was an associate with various firms in Passaic, Morris, and Essex Counties, where his practice primarily concentrated on personal injury and workers' compensation matters. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph F. Scancarella, J.S.C, Passaic, Superior Court of New Jersey, during the 1994-1995 term.
Braunstein graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1990 with a B.A. in criminal justice and earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1994. He has been admitted to the bar in New Jersey since 1995.
