Vendor Opportunities
Description: Located in Newark's downtown cultural district, The New Jersey Historical Society is a statewide, nonprofit museum, library, and archives. We collect, preserve, and interpret New Jersey's rich and intricate history to the broadest possible audiences. Founded in 1845, we are one of the oldest cultural institutions in the state. Through award-winning exhibitions, publications, and programming, we examine who and what we are, what it means to live and work in New Jersey, what contributes to New Jersey's distinct identity, and the unique contributions New Jerseyans make to the region and the country.
Description: The council is a service group of the local cultural community, providing technical assistance to emerging arts organizations and individual artists in development, marketing, fiscal agent services, and mailing lists. It also sponsors the Newark chapter of the National Business Volunteers for The Arts program. A communications project, Newark Arts, is also produced by the council, encompassing a radio broadcast program, a cable TV program, and a newsletter.
